Baku: Azerbaijan has advised its citizens to avoid traveling to Iran due to a deteriorating security situation in the country. The Ministry has urged those currently in Iran to exit via Azerbaijan or Trkiye, depending on their location.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijani citizens are also advised to adhere to security measures, avoid crowded areas, and follow instructions from local authorities. Citizens are encouraged to stay informed through official sources of information.

In case of emergencies, citizens in Iran are requested to reach out to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan or the Consulate General in Tabriz using the provided contact channels.
