Azerbaijan Allocates AZN 1.6 Million for Restoration of Ganja’s Juma Mosque

Ganja: An initial 1.6 million manats have been allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the restoration of the Juma Mosque in Ganja. This allocation is part of the 2026 state budget, aimed at preparing design and cost estimate documentation as well as implementing restoration and repair works at the mosque.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan signed an order authorizing this allocation. The order specifies that the Ministry of Finance should ensure the specified financing, while the Cabinet of Ministers is tasked with resolving any issues that arise from this order.
