Baku: Azerbaijan spent 168 million manats from its state budget last year for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. This expenditure was highlighted in the Annual Report on the Implementation of the 2024 State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which was discussed at a meeting of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the budget allocation for other events was significantly lower, with expenditures totaling less than 1 million manats. In total, the 2024 state budget allocated 195.9 million manats for various international, national, and similar events.
