Baku: Azerbaijan has allocated more than 1 billion manats for the reconstruction and restoration of its liberated territories during the first half of 2026. The Ministry of Finance reports that 1.0641 billion manats, accounting for 30.4% of the annual budget, was spent based on cash payment requests from contracting organizations involved in relevant projects.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a substantial portion of the funds, 974.1 million manats, was directed toward infrastructure projects. This includes 489.3 million manats for the design, construction, and reconstruction of road infrastructure and 371.1 million manats for the development of new residential complexes. Additionally, 67.6 million manats were allocated for tourism infrastructure, 15.9 million manats for cable cars in Shusha, Khankendi, and Lachin, 15.3 million manats for electricity supply to settlements, 7.6 million manats for water and wastewater facilities, and 7.3 million manats for industrial parks.

Furthermore, 29.8 million manats were designated for social projects in healthcare and culture, 45.3 million manats for mine clearance operations, and 14.9 million manats for constructing and repairing defense and law enforcement facilities.
