Baku: Azerbaijan has unveiled the structure of its budget expenditures for the reconstruction of Karabakh. Based on the execution for the first nine months of 2025, 2 billion 567.5 million manat from the state budget has been spent for the reconstruction and restoration of the liberated territories.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Finance reported that a significant portion of the funds was directed towards infrastructure projects. In the first nine months of this year, expenditures reached 2 billion 234.8 million manat. This included 1 billion 525.1 million manat for the design and construction of highways, 461.1 million manat for new residential complexes, and 107.3 million manat for railway lines. Additional allocations included 48 million manat for electrical supply works, 44.3 million manat for water lines and collector facilities, 27.7 million manat for industrial parks and infrastructure, 7.1 million manat for geological exploration, 6.6 million manat for the construction of cable cars in the regions of Shusha, Khankendi, and Lachin, and 7.6 million manat for other necessary works.

Furthermore, 291.7 million manat was assigned to social projects aimed at improving education, healthcare, culture, and sports in the liberated territories. The expenses for mine clearance in these areas amounted to 41 million manat.
