Baku: Azerbaijan has allocated 2.9 billion AZN for the reconstruction and restoration of its recently liberated territories in the first nine months of 2025. A total of 3 billion 150 million 268 thousand AZN was spent on construction and installation works in these districts from January to September 2025.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistical Committee’s report indicates that the largest allocations were directed towards the districts of Kalbajar, with 781.429 million AZN; Aghdam, receiving 432.668 million AZN; followed by Zangilan and Lachin, which were allocated 345.685 million AZN and 323.961 million AZN, respectively.
In the broader context, Azerbaijan directed 13 billion 48.1 million manats to fixed capital from all financial sources during the same period. Of this, 10 billion 281.9 million manats were dedicated to construction and installation works. The funds spent on these activities in the liberated territories accounted for 30.6% of the total construction and installation expenditures in the country.
The financial commitment reflects Azerbaijan’s strategic efforts to revitalize and develop the infrastructure in its liberated regions, as part of a broader national initiative.
