Baku: 'Azerbaijan Aluminium' Open Joint Stock Company will be liquidated, following an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev aimed at enhancing the development of the mining (metal ores) and metallurgical industry in Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the order stipulates that the assets of 'Azerbaijan Aluminium' OJSC will be transferred to the balance of 'Azeraluminium' Limited Liability Company. This decision is part of broader measures to consolidate and advance the metallurgical sector in the country.
