Baku: Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov recently met with Besart Kadia, the first resident Ambassador of Albania to Azerbaijan, marking a significant step in the diplomatic relationship between the two countries. Kadia presented a copy of his credentials to Bayramov during the meeting, which took place on October 29.
According to Trend News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation in various sectors. These include political, economic, energy security, transportation and communication, investment, humanitarian efforts, and tourism. Azerbaijan’s strategic energy and transportation projects have been pivotal in enhancing these relations.
The discussions emphasized the importance of cooperative efforts within regional and international organizations, aiming to foster joint initiatives and tackle challenges that affect shared interests. The talks also touched upon Azerbaijan’s upcoming role in the COP29 presidency and ongoing negotiations.
