Azerbaijan and Armenia Accelerate Peace Treaty Negotiations


BAKU: Azerbaijan and Armenia have committed to accelerating their negotiations to finalize a peace treaty, aiming to stabilize relations after years of conflict.

According to Trend News Agency, the renewed commitment came after a productive meeting between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan in Istanbul. The discussions were part of the “3+3” regional platform, which aims to enhance dialogue and cooperation among countries in the region.

“The parties continued talks on the Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations and agreed to step up efforts to conclude it as soon as possible,” the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
