Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, engaged in a telephone conversation with his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, to address growing regional tensions.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the conversation on March 2 centered around the recent military escalation in the Middle East and its potential impacts. Both ministers expressed concern over the rapidly shifting dynamics in the region, emphasizing that further escalation could negatively affect regional stability and security.

The officials highlighted the necessity of implementing urgent de-escalation measures and maintaining open diplomatic channels. They also advocated for advancing dialogue and negotiations as essential steps toward mitigating the tensions.
