London: Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, met with Charles Hatami, Global Head of the Financial and Strategic Investors Group at BlackRock, in London. The meeting aimed at exploring avenues for cooperation under a Memorandum of Intent signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Davos with BlackRock and its subsidiary, Global Infrastructure Partners.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions included the initial outcomes of joint efforts in several key areas such as digital infrastructure, the artificial intelligence ecosystem, and the establishment of a regional data center. A significant focus was placed on attracting investments in air transport infrastructure, highlighting a strategic interest in enhancing Azerbaijan's connectivity and transport capabilities.
