Baku: Two significant memorandums of understanding were signed during a planned two-day working visit to Azerbaijan by Meg O'Neill, Chief Executive Officer of bp, and Gordon Birrell, Executive Vice President for Production and Operations of the company.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the signing took place with the participation of Azerbaijan's Economy Minister, Mikayil Jabbarov, and Meg O'Neill. The first memorandum focuses on cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and bp concerning the high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure currently being developed under the Ministry's leadership.

The second memorandum involves SOCAR and bp, aimed at promoting, strengthening, and expanding their long-term cooperation in the energy sector, marking a significant step in their ongoing partnership.
