Azerbaijan and Bulgaria Enhance Electoral Collaboration

BAKU — In a significant meeting that underscored the cooperative spirit between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission, met with Kameliya Neykova, Chair of the Bulgarian Central Election Commission.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, During the discussions, Panahov detailed the extensive preparations and technological innovations, such as the installation of 1,000 webcams at polling stations, to ensure transparency and accessibility in the elections. With 6,478 polling stations set up across the country, including newly liberated territories, this election marks the first time parliamentary votes are being conducted across the entire sovereign territory of Azerbaijan. Neykova praised the execution of the elections and noted the high voter turnout observed during her visits to several polling stations. The meeting also touched on various electoral processes and the commitment of both nations to conduct fair and transparent elections.
