Baku:President Ilham Aliyev expressed optimism about enhancing trade relations with Cambodia following the official visit of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, during a joint press statement, President Aliyev acknowledged that the current trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Cambodia remains low. However, he anticipates a significant increase following the Prime Minister's visit.

The discussions between the two leaders also covered the potential for establishing joint production facilities across various industries. They explored opportunities for collaboration in tourism and education, aiming to strengthen bilateral ties further.
