Baku: Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met with Ambassador of Egypt to Azerbaijan Houssam-Eldine Reda to discuss interparliamentary relations between the two nations. The meeting underscored the importance of the ties facilitated by their respective heads of state.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions highlighted the productive cooperation between the Milli Majlis and both chambers of the Egyptian Parliament. Sahiba Gafarova emphasized that reciprocal visits by parliamentary delegations and active participation within friendship groups have played a significant role in strengthening bilateral relations.

Ambassador Houssam-Eldine Reda reiterated his commitment to further enhancing interparliamentary collaboration, as well as cooperation in other areas. In addition to interparliamentary relations, the meeting also touched upon other topics of mutual interest.
