London: Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, visited the United Kingdom to discuss potential collaboration with Entrust, a global technology company known for its expertise in digital identification, electronic signatures, and cryptographic technologies.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring opportunities for cooperation in the digital sector, as well as assessing the current state and future prospects of collaboration between Azerbaijan and Entrust. The UK delegation received a briefing on the initiatives aimed at enhancing Azerbaijan's digital infrastructure, including national digital identification, electronic signature, and cybersecurity systems, as part of the country's broader digital transformation and artificial intelligence strategy.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Entrust and AzInTelecom, marking a significant step towards strengthening digital ties between Azerbaijan and the UK.
