Baku:An online meeting was held between representatives of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA) and France's Ministry of Agriculture, along with the Institute for French Livestock Institute (IDELE), to exchange experiences in the field of animal identification and registration.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing Azerbaijan's Animal Identification and Registration System (AIRS) and discussed measures related to the 2026-2030 State Program. Presentations highlighted France's expertise in animal identification and registration, electronic data management, system integration, and animal movement tracking.
Participants also discussed the technical and institutional aspects of AIRS, emphasizing the effective use of information technologies and France's experience in database management. Opportunities to further develop the system were also explored.
In conclusion, both sides underscored the importance of continued cooperation between Azerbaijan and France in the area of animal identification and registration, highlighting the benefits of ongoing experience sharing.
