Baku: Azerbaijan and France have engaged in discussions concerning matters related to parliamentary diplomacy. On July 9, Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Affairs of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, held a meeting with Nathalie Goulet, a member of the French Senate.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on the current state and prospective developments of relations between Azerbaijan and France. The discussions highlighted interparliamentary cooperation and addressed regional and international matters that are of mutual concern to both nations.
The officials emphasized the role of parliamentary diplomacy in fostering interstate dialogue, building mutual trust, and enhancing cooperation between the two countries. They also deliberated on issues pertaining to regional security, peace, and humanitarian relations, alongside other relevant topics.
