Azerbaijan and Georgia Defense Ministries Discuss Strategic Communications

Baku:Representatives from the Media and Public Affairs Department of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense and the Strategic Communications and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia held a meeting.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Georgian delegation received detailed information about the Media and Public Affairs Department's work, especially during the 44-day Patriotic War that resulted in the victory of the Azerbaijan Army. The discussion also covered counter-terrorism efforts, military operations, and measures to combat disinformation.

The meeting included briefings on the Ministry of Defense's strategies for information, communication, and public affairs, alongside the management of official social media and handling citizen inquiries.

Participants engaged in an in-depth exchange on strategic communications and information activities, discussing future cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia in military information and strategic communications.

During their visit, the Georgian delegation toured the Military Publishing House, the editorial office of the Azerbaijan Army newspaper, and the Multimedia Center.
