Baku: Azerbaijan and Germany are seeking to expand their cooperation in the financial sector. First Deputy Minister of Finance Anar Karimov recently engaged with German business representatives visiting Azerbaijan to discuss potential collaborations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions centered on the growth potential within Azerbaijan’s financial sector and the opportunities it presents for German businesses. Anar Karimov pointed out the positive growth dynamics of Azerbaijan’s economy, particularly in the non-oil sector, which continues to develop.

The German delegation acknowledged Azerbaijan’s conducive business and investment environment, highlighting the significant opportunities available for German companies. They also recognized the economic stability and strategic projects in Azerbaijan as a robust basis for establishing long-term partnerships.
