Baku:Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov met with Greece's Minister of Environment and Energy Stavros Papastavrou during the 6th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial, and Technological Cooperation between the two nations.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ministers discussed enhancing energy cooperation. They focused on the importance of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) for Europe's energy security, including Greece, and reviewed aspects of natural gas supplies, renewable energy, green energy interconnections, and the energy transition.
Minister Shahbazov highlighted that nearly 700 million cubic meters of natural gas were supplied from Azerbaijan to Greece in the first eight months of the year.
