Azerbaijan and Hungary Strengthen Bilateral Relations, Says President Aliyev


BAKU: Azerbaijan and Hungary’s bilateral relations are thriving on a foundation of mutual trust and are expanding with new dimensions, according to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. In a congratulatory letter to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Hungary’s national holiday, President Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the current state of relations between the two nations, Trend reports.

According to Trend News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the importance of expanding interstate relations, which hold significant potential across various sectors. “We place great emphasis on expanding our interstate relations, which have great potential, across all areas, including further deepening our strategic partnership,” Aliyev stated in the letter. He highlighted that the high level of mutual understanding and the active political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Hungary have established a favorable foundation for further cooperation.

The Azerbaijani leader also expressed confidence in the continued effort
s to enhance the friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Hungary. He noted that these efforts would be pursued both bilaterally and multilaterally, particularly within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States. Aliyev concluded by expressing optimism that these endeavors would serve the interests of both nations and their peoples.
