Azerbaijan and Iran Discuss Collaboration on Family and Children’s Affairs

Baku: Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of Azerbaijan's State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, held a meeting with Zahra Pezeshkian, the daughter of the President of Iran, during the international conference on 'Protection of Children in the Digital Environment: Modern Tools and International Cooperation' in Baku.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Muradova emphasized the deep historical ties between Azerbaijan and Iran. She noted that the two neighboring countries, which share brotherly and friendly relations, are committed to approaching regional developments and enhancing economic and social ties through both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

Muradova highlighted the strengthening relations between the Presidents and parliaments of Azerbaijan and Iran. She reiterated Azerbaijan's readiness to deepen relations with Iran in various sectors. In response, Zahra Pezeshkian proposed establishing cooperation in the areas of family, women, and children affairs and suggested implementing an expertise-sharing mechanism.

Muradova confirmed Azerbaijan's willingness to take the necessary actions to advance this collaboration.
