Baku: Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Sattar Hashemi, who is visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25), the Ministry told APA. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of information and communications technology (ICT).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the two ministers explored the possibility of establishing a working group to strengthen the partnership between Azerbaijan and Iran. They also discussed expanding the regulatory legal framework to facilitate this cooperation. The meeting emphasized the importance of continuing the successful collaboration achieved recently, particularly in the area of frequency coordination, which is crucial for the development of ICT infrastructure in both countries.
