BAKU: Azerbaijan Railways has nearly finalized an agreement with Iran on the most suitable route for the Agband-Salam-Malik railway line, according to a statement by Rovshan Rustamov, chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY). Rustamov spoke to journalists about the progress of the railway project, as reported by APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the construction of the Horadiz-Aghband railway line is advancing rapidly. Rustamov highlighted that the next phase involves preparing detailed project documents for the reconstruction of the Nakhchivan railways. He also mentioned that final negotiations are underway with Iranian officials to determine the precise locations of bridges and other critical elements along the railway route.
