Azerbaijan and Iran to Collaborate on Transport Roadmap

Baku: Azerbaijan and Iran have initiated discussions to develop a comprehensive transport roadmap aimed at enhancing cargo transportation by road and rail between the two nations. This was announced by Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, through his X account, as reported by APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Nabiyev met with Farzaneh Sadegh, Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, to discuss strategies for boosting cargo transport volumes and improving transport infrastructure. An agreement was made to prepare a roadmap to guide these developments. Additionally, the meeting included discussions on expanding regional connections through multilateral transport corridors.
