Azerbaijan and Jordan Pledge to Deepen Bilateral Cooperation

Antalya: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as discussing the situation in the Middle East.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, both ministers stressed the need to intensify efforts to develop the friendly and partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan. They highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation both bilaterally and within international organizations. The ministers acknowledged the mutual support based on friendship and solidarity between the two countries in forums such as the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Non-Aligned Movement.

The discussion also included a detailed examination of the current security situation in the Middle East. Both sides agreed that the ongoing crisis could only be resolved through political and diplomatic means. They expressed hope that continued dialogue and negotiations would lead to successful outcomes.

In addition to these discussions, the ministers exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest, reinforcing their commitment to further strengthen ties between Azerbaijan and Jordan.
