Baku: Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the need to increase mutual visits between Azerbaijan and Jordan, pointing out the significant potential for development in the tourism sector. Speaking at a joint press conference with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan Ayman Al-Safadi, Bayramov highlighted last year's notable rise in mutual visits between the two nations.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the minister underscored the necessity for additional measures to enhance tourism exchanges. He announced the launch of direct flights between the two countries once a week since the end of May and stressed the importance of increasing these flights. An agreement signed during the conference aims to further facilitate travel by abolishing visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports.
