Astana: Gunay Efendiya, a member of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, engaged in discussions with Aida Balayeva, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Minister of Culture and Information, in Astana. The meeting focused on exploring ways to enhance cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Efendiyeva shared her observations on Kazakhstan's Qurultay elections as part of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic States (TURKPA) mission. The discussions highlighted the steady development of the strategic partnership between the two nations, guided by the leadership of Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan.

Both officials emphasized the significance of strengthening bilateral ties in various sectors, including political, economic, humanitarian, and cultural areas. The dialogue also covered Azerbaijan's ongoing restoration efforts in the liberated Garabagh region, with Kazakhstan providing support for this process. Additionally, the meeting addressed other issues of mutual concern between the two countries.
