BAKU: Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are strengthening their collaboration on the strategic Middle Corridor, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Alim Bayel, announced during a celebration of Kazakhstan’s Republic Day in Baku.

According to Trend News Agency, Ambassador Bayel emphasized the active cooperation between the two nations on various regional projects, with a particular focus on the increasing cargo shipments along the Middle Corridor. These shipments are considered crucial for regional economic development and connectivity.

The ambassador highlighted the impending installation of a fiber-optic cable across the Caspian Sea, a significant project within the digital telecommunications corridor that aims to link East and West. This development is expected to enhance digital communication infrastructure between the two regions, further solidifying their partnership.
