Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Strengthen Ties with Autism Cooperation Agreement

Astana: The Azerbaijan Autism Association and the Kazakhstan National Autism Association have taken a significant step towards collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the field of autism. This strategic agreement was formalized during an international event organized by the Autism Federation of Turkic States in Astana, Kazakhstan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the MoU aims to promote the sharing of experiences in autism treatment, the execution of joint projects, and the advancement of rehabilitation, training, and social support programs. The Azerbaijani delegation present at the signing included Vugar Iskandarov, the Honorary President of the Azerbaijan Autism Association; Sona Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Association; and Elnur Mammadli, President of the Autism Federation of Turkic States.

The event also saw participants adopting resolutions aimed at enhancing regional cooperation and facilitating the integration of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) into society.
