Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan Forge Military Cooperation Plan for 2025


BISHKEK: Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan have signed a Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2025, marking a significant step in the defense relations between the two nations. During an official visit to Kyrgyzstan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, to discuss and formalize the agreement.

According to Trend News Agency, the meeting took place at the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, where the ministers participated in an official welcoming ceremony. The event featured a guard of honor and the national anthems of both countries played by a military orchestra. The discussions focused on enhancing military, military-technical, and military educational cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.

The defense ministers also exchanged views on regional security and other issues of mutual interest. The meeting concluded with the signing of the Bilateral
Military Cooperation Plan for 2025, which aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries in the coming years.
