Azerbaijan and Latvia Seek to Enhance Strategic Partnership

Riga: Deputies of the Milli Majlis, led by Kamran Bayramov, Leader of the Working Group for Azerbaijani-Latvian Interparliamentary Relations, along with group members Fazil Mustafa and Sevil Mikayilova, convened with Daiga Mierina, Speaker of the Saeima. The discussions focused on exploring opportunities to bolster the partnership between Azerbaijan and Latvia, emphasizing their status as friendly and strategic allies.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting included an exchange of perspectives on mutual activities spanning various sectors of bilateral relations. The Azerbaijani parliamentarians provided updates on the situation in the South Caucasus, discussing the ongoing normalization process with Armenia and addressing recent drone attacks by Iran against Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani delegation expressed appreciation for Latvia's support concerning these issues.
