Baku: Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli met with Libyan Minister of Culture and Cognitive Development Mabrouka Toghi, who is visiting Azerbaijan to attend the “OIC Cultural Festival: Baku Creative Week – 2025.” The meeting underscored the mutual interest in enhancing cultural ties between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Adil Karimli praised Libya’s active participation in the event and highlighted the successful collaboration between Azerbaijan and Libya within international organizations such as the UN, OIC, and NAM. He emphasized that the festival provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen cultural connections.

Minister Toghi stressed Libya’s intention to establish close cultural links with Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that collaborative efforts to enhance cultural relations would yield positive outcomes. The discussions explored prospects for further cooperation in the cultural sphere, with both parties agreeing to maintain contacts in this area in the future.
