Baku: Elnur Aliyev, Azerbaijan's First Deputy Minister of Economy, recently held a meeting with Barbora Paulovic Deckerov¡, President for Central Europe and Central Asia at Microsoft. During this meeting, discussions centered around Azerbaijan's economic priorities, its business-friendly environment, and initiatives to boost the digital economy through new technologies.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, both parties explored opportunities for collaboration to enhance Azerbaijan's innovation ecosystem and leverage advanced technological expertise. The conversation also included the potential establishment of a Digital Capability Center. This center would aim to focus on digital solutions, artificial intelligence technology development, capacity building, and the integration of digital technologies within industrial and public sectors.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed the possibility of implementing joint projects with Microsoft, alongside other areas of mutual interest between Azerbaijan and the tech giant.
