Azerbaijan and Mongolia Focus on Judicial Cooperation Expansion

Baku: On May 7, Farhad Abdullayev, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan, met with a visiting Mongolian delegation led by Jargalsaikhan Banzragch, the Prosecutor General of Mongolia. During this meeting, discussions centered on expanding judicial and legal exchanges between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Abdullayev emphasized the strong cooperation between Azerbaijan and Mongolia, highlighting that it is based on mutual trust and understanding. This foundation is seen as essential for strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors.

Abdullayev provided the Mongolian delegation with insights into Azerbaijan's ongoing judicial-legal reforms and innovations, detailing the activities and decision-making processes of the Constitutional Court. He also shared several key legal stances held by the court.

Banzragch expressed appreciation for the bilateral relations and the current level of cooperation, expressing confidence that these ties would continue to strengthen. The meeting underscored the importance of expanding mutual experience-sharing in the judicial-legal sphere and emphasized the significance of implementing joint initiatives to deepen cooperation.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on the development prospects of bilateral relations and other matters of mutual interest. The Mongolian delegation also toured the Constitutional Court building as part of their visit.
