Baku: Within the framework of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with President of the OPEC Fund for International Development Abdulhamid Alkhalifa. The meeting focused on the main areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OPEC Fund, as well as future development prospects.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the parties reviewed activities being implemented within the framework of the Country Partnership Framework covering the period 2025-2030. They exchanged views on efforts aimed at improving water supply, developing social infrastructure, and enhancing environmental sustainability.

Discussions also centered on opportunities for supporting the private sector and promoting investment opportunities. Additionally, the parties explored avenues for participating in regional connectivity projects, highlighting a shared interest in bolstering economic ties and sustainable development initiatives.
