Baku: Farid Ahmadov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Justice, met with a delegation from Pakistan, led by Aqeel Malik, Minister of State for Law and Justice. The official emphasized the elevation of Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations to a strategic partnership, highlighting the importance of reciprocal visits and high-level meetings in strengthening these ties.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting underscored the joint efforts within the framework of the Memorandum and Program on Cooperation between the justice authorities of both nations. In this context, the parties highlighted the significance of a joint training program that Pakistani professionals will conduct in Baku, aimed at enhancing expertise exchange and professional relations between the two countries' justice authorities.

Minister Ahmadov expressed gratitude to the Pakistani side for a successful training program held in Islamabad this past May. Additionally, it was confirmed that Islamabad is set to host another joint training program this October. Both sides expressed confidence that these joint training initiatives would significantly contribute to expanding bilateral justice cooperation.

The meeting also addressed other issues of mutual concern, further solidifying the commitment to enhance collaboration in the justice sector.
