Azerbaijan and Palestine Discuss Strengthening Ties in Emergency Management

Baku: Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Emergency Situations, engaged in discussions with Ahmed Metani, the Palestinian Ambassador, focusing on cooperation in managing emergency situations. Highlighting the evolving relationship rooted in mutual respect and friendship, Heydarov provided insights into the Ministry's initiatives aimed at addressing emergencies.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting underscored the significance of previous discussions between Heydarov and Akram Thawabta, the Chief of Civil Defense of Palestine. This interaction took place during the 58th session of the Executive Council of the International Civil Defense Organization in Baku last year, furthering collaboration between the relevant institutions of Azerbaijan and Palestine.

Ambassador Metani emphasized his commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation in emergency management. The meeting also covered various other mutual interests, aiming to strengthen the partnership between the two nations.
