Azerbaijan and Romania Discuss Cultural and Media Collaboration

Bucharest: Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Media of the Romanian Senate, Senator Gheorghe-Ioan Bota, met with Azerbaijani Ambassador to the country Gudsi Osmanov. The meeting focused on the potential for developing cooperation in culture, education, heritage, and media between Azerbaijan and Romania.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions emphasized the importance of enhancing the friendly relations between the two nations in cultural and humanitarian contexts. The dialogue included strategies for strengthening ties between their cultural and educational institutions, organizing reciprocal visits, implementing joint projects, and boosting scientific research collaborations.

Senator Gheorghe-Ioan Bota extended an invitation to Ambassador Gudsi Osmanov to visit Romania's Bihor region. He stated that such a visit could help in showcasing the region's cultural heritage and traditions and in finding new avenues for cooperation.

The meeting also addressed the potential for collaboration between Romanian TV and Azerbaijani media organizations. The two parties explored the possibility of implementing joint projects and promoting professional exchanges to further strengthen media relations.
