Moscow:Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, held discussions with Russian Minister of Energy, Sergei Tsivilev, in Moscow during the 28th Ministerial Meeting and the 8th Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the meeting between Shahbazov and Tsivilev focused on collaboration within the GECF framework. The ministers also addressed current issues pertaining to the energy cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Russia.

The discussions were part of the broader context of the GECF summit, which serves as a platform for gas-exporting countries to engage in dialogue and explore further cooperation in the energy sector.
