Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, met with Denis Afanasyev, Vice-Governor and Chairman of the Government of the Astrakhan Region of the Russian Federation, to discuss improving regional economic ties. The discussions aimed at bolstering cooperation across various sectors.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting involved exchanging views on enhancing relations in industry, trade, transport, logistics, humanitarian affairs, and other fields. The importance of strengthening business platforms was emphasized to deepen connections between the business communities of Azerbaijan and the Astrakhan region.
