Azerbaijan and Somalia Waive Visa Requirements for Diplomatic Passport Holders

Baku: Azerbaijan and Somalia have officially waived mutual visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports. The draft law approving the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports" was included on the agenda of the Milli Majlis session held on December 30.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the document was signed in Kampala on October 15, 2025. The draft law was subsequently put to a vote and adopted, marking a significant step in strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries. The decision underscores a mutual commitment to facilitating diplomatic engagement and cooperation.
