Azerbaijan and Trkiye Collaborate on Strategic Energy Projects

Baku: Azerbaijan and Trkiye are actively working on new collaborative projects aimed at strengthening energy ties for the coming decades, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced during a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ministers revealed that significant progress is being made on initiatives that include the transmission of alternative energy from Azerbaijan to the European market through the Black Sea. Additionally, an energy cable project is underway to connect Nakhchivan with Trkiye, facilitating the transit of energy to Europe via Trkiye.

These strategic projects are expected to enhance energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye while contributing to the diversification of energy sources for the European market.
