Baku: Azerbaijan and Trkiye have engaged in discussions to enhance cooperation in the education sector. On June 8, during the 9th Meeting of the Education Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States, Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, met with Erol President of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Trkiye and Yusuf Tekin, Minister of National Education of the Republic of Trkiye.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions with Erol focused on the current state of collaboration in higher education between the two countries. The meeting highlighted plans for future initiatives, including expanding cooperation between higher education institutions, implementing joint scientific research projects, and exploring opportunities within the Trkiye-Azerbaijan University framework.

The meeting with Yusuf Tekin covered the current state of cooperation in general and vocational education. Discussions included plans for a new general education institution in Istanbul and potential collaboration between vocational education institutions in both countries.
