Baku: The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, recently engaged in a pivotal meeting with Sel§uk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish defense company Baykar. This meeting, as reported by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense, highlighted the ongoing successful development of military relations between Azerbaijan and Trkiye.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Colonel General Hasanov emphasized the deepening ties in the military sphere between the two nations, noting that these relationships are growing across various sectors. He pointed to Baykar's pivotal role in Trkiye's defense industry and stressed the importance of continuing to enhance joint production capacities by integrating advanced technological innovations.

Sel§uk Bayraktar expressed appreciation for the warm reception his delegation received and noted that such reciprocal visits help fortify military and military-technical cooperation between the two countries. The meeting, which included Birol Akgn, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Trkiye to Azerbaijan, involved extensive discussions on topics such as unmanned aerial vehicles, electronic warfare, and other areas of mutual interest.
