Ankara: The next round of consular consultations between Azerbaijan and Trkiye took place in Ankara, as confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. The discussions were held on May 12, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijani delegation was headed by Emil Safarov, the Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On the Turkish side, Gulsum Erkul, Director General for Consular Affairs and Citizens Living Abroad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Trkiye, led the discussions.
The consultations also saw participation from various departments and agencies. From Azerbaijan, representatives from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the Prosecutor General's Office were present. The Turkish side included officials from the Ministry of Justice, Internal Affairs, and other relevant agencies of the Republic of Trkiye.
