Azerbaijan and Turkey Sign MoU to Boost Railway Sector Cooperation

Baku: The Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), affiliated with AZCON Holding, and the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement is aimed at enhancing cooperation in the railway sector between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the MoU was signed by Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of ADY, and Veysi Kurt, Director General and Chairman of the Board of TCDD. The agreement intends to significantly strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation in various aspects of the railway industry.

Under the terms of the MoU, the two organizations will work together on infrastructure development and traffic management. Additionally, they plan to implement joint innovative solutions, provide staff training, and exchange technical information to ensure the effective execution of the partnership.

The collaboration is expected to bring advancements in the railway sectors of both countries, leveraging each other's strengths and expertise to foster growth and development.
