Baku: The 8th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation in Economic and Humanitarian Spheres between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan was held in Baku, highlighting the commitment of both nations to deepen their economic partnership.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting underscored the historical and cultural connections between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, which form the basis of their robust bilateral relations. Discussions focused on exploring prospects for collaboration across various sectors and initiatives that align with their mutual economic interests.

The session concluded with the signing of a protocol by the co-chairs, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan N¶kerguli Ataguliyev. This document outlines plans to enhance cooperation in sectors such as economic trade, energy, transport, and agriculture, among others.
