Dubai: A delegation from Azerbaijan, including representatives from the Ministry of Finance, visited Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), to discuss the implementation of digital financial solutions as part of a Memorandum of Understanding on financial cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Finance.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the visit aimed to study advanced international practices in public finance management, enhance institutional and technical cooperation, and explore the application of digital financial solutions. Meetings were held to facilitate these discussions.
During these meetings, the UAE Ministry of Finance presented various topics, including the use of data-driven decision-making and analytical platforms in public finance management. They also discussed public-private partnership models in the public sector, electronic tax administration, electronic contracting, treasury management, and financial control mechanisms through digital platforms.
